Future Me by Stephen Browne - review snippets so far
Coming Soon - The Scarifyers! Brand new adventure
Newsflash! Special Question and Answer session after the Bloomsbury Theatre show

I am about to open in an excellent new play called Future Me. Very different from the sort of work I usually do.
It's about a young lawyer who gets caught with something very nasty on his hard drive. I play a guy he meets in prison - a militant paedophile. It's a small but challenging part in a really brave, moving piece of writing.
I’m thrilled to be working with an excellent company of actors under the direction of Guy Retallack.
It’s at Theatre 503 (formerly The Latchmere) in Battersea from 19th June to 7th July.
From the flyer:
‘Gripping, fearless and moving, Future Me is the new work from the writer and director of Filter Theatre's Faster, a sell-out hit at BAC, the Lyric Hammersmith and New York's 59E59 Theater.’
Performances at 8pm Tuesday to Saturday, Sundays 5pm
Tickets £7 / £12

“Never before has the act of plugging in a modem cable
seemed so dramatic. I was on the edge of my seat.”

“Future Me is several cuts above the average...
Noteworthy performance from David Benson as an
unrepentant, vinegar-faced paedophile.”
Metro
"...David Benson in a marvellous departure from his
Kenneth Williams alter ego, showing in the process
that he is an actor of great subtlety."

well acted”

Coming Soon (May the 7th, actually) - The Scarifyers! The Devil of Denge Marsh. Brand new adventure starring David in multiple roles alongside Nicholas Courtney and Terry Molly. Listen to the trailer (1mb)
A special post-show Question and Answer session will
be hosted by the Bloomsbury’s General Manager Peter
Cadley, who was a friend of the real Kenneth Williams.
The perfect opportunity for Williams fans to ask both
David Benson and Peter Cadley any burning questions
they have about the show or Kenneth. The event will
take place in the auditorium shortly after the
performance and will be free to all ticket holders.
Here you can see some photos from David's other performances. So far, there are photos from the plays Loot and Latin! - more will go up soon!
